Corporate Actions
Strate facilitates the settlement of equity, bonds and money market corporate actions or events in the market on behalf of issuers. A corporate action is an action that is taken by an issuer or by another third party that affects the register and beneficial owners of securities in terms of an entitlement. Typical events include:
- an economic event (i.e. a cash or dividend in specie)
- a non-economic event (i.e. a notice of a meeting)
Data is updated on a monthly basis. Historical data, and an Excel version of current data can be requested from marketinsights@strate.co.za.
